We used to kiss the days away now we piss the days away
You drink too much, I think too much
And all the time shoot bullets at the floor

I go out alone at night sit in a dark corner
Feelin’ sorry for myself maybe I’m just a born loner
and everyone thinks you’re great I wonder what I did to deserve this fate
Maybe it’s time to admit… it’s time to quit I’m sad to say

I left my house in NY you never knew I’d be so much work
You told everyone about your girl but I’m on the other side of the world
fine line between soulmate and cellmate and I just can’t tell anymore
so I headed for the door
Now I’m feeling scared and like a loon cuz he ain’t in my living room
3000 miles lie between my past present and future dream
I’m not sure which way I should turn first I crash and then I burn
Before I start a waterfall I tell you all in all
We did pretty well for two kids who brought our own hell to the mix
It’s hard to fix such a situation but here’s my aggravation
I still love you I do
We like the same movies most of the time got the same outlook on politics and crime
and we both know a lie so I won’t snow you I won’t try
I’m sad to say gothic blues have taken me away
